前阵子到槟城浮罗走走拍照。。拍了这个小花，你喜欢吗？

Last week was the celebration of Malaysia 51th Birthday. Selamat Hari Merdeka.

Jet and Christine invited me and my darling Carol to spend a day in Pulau Pangkor, Perak. They were just more than happy to fetch us. Yippie ! I don't have to drive ! Anyway, breakfast first at Ipoh, then to Lumut we went.

Lumut was beautiful. Booked our ferry to Pulau Pangkor (pulau means island in Malay language), RM10 both ways. It was a fair bargain. The travel with ferry was smooth and enjoying. The sky was crystal clear and bluish which lead me to suspect that it rained the day before. Lucky me.

We managed to rent motorcycle and booked ourselves in Vicky Resort. It was beautiful and cosy. Then off we went round island on our motorcycle and lots of sight seeing and photo taking. See my photo album "Pulau Pangkor" for some of the photos I took. Complete photos can be viewed here.

The next morning, we decided to take a boat to an island not far away for some snorkling and fish feeing. Ouch ! Lots of cuts on my legs while snorkling around the corals area. It was indeed a very relaxing and enjoyable moment. The experience feeding fishes only 1 foot away from me was just breath-taking.

Pulau Pangkor, a place I will sure to come back very soon.

It was a windy and sunny afternoon. As I was on my photography session with one of my models at the front of the bridge... This kid just walk past us and suddenly out of a photographer instinct, I just snap this. Turns out to be a quite potential photo.. I've edited the colors and add in the artificial sun with some lens flares.....

This photo reminds me of the song by Elton John, Another Day in Paradise.... Indeed, I've found my paradise, here in Penang that day.... Where's your paradise ?

Thanks to Nikon for sponsoring a photography workshop in Penang, 2nd February 2008.

Today, I went to Hotel Equatorial for a photography shooting session sponsored by Nikon. Three beautiful models, Ms. Cindy from Penang, Ms. QiQi from Kuala Lumpur and Ms. Nancy from Russia came and post for us. It was a very fruitful experience to work with these three great models.

After the session, I just can't wait to load all the photos to my PC and view them. I find my photoshooting technique more mature now as the photos showed clearer Depth of Field. Some of the photos are not correctly exposed, you bet I've deleted them. Yes for sure. I'd shot at least half of my photos in black and white. I am not sure why... maybe coz the models are wearing black. It was a shiny day and they wore black... hmm, I can't help to imagine the discomfort they have to go through to post.
